Art sites on Momoshima

On the guided walking tour, we will explore our art galleries that used to be abandoned.
Each of them has a unique story.

Itinerary 

Meeting time and location

Date | November 18th (Sat )

Time | 9:30 ~10am 

Location | Onomichi Port Terminal ( See on Map ) Check in and board our chartered ferry.

10:00 - Cruise around the islands with a guide and learn about the unique Setouchi area.



11:00 - Arrive at Momoshima. (See on Map)

11:10 - Begin a guided walking tour on Momoshima to see our permanent art installations scattered around the island.

12:00pm - Arrive at our main gallery located in a former school building. (See on Map)

13:00 - Special lunch with local ingredients.

14:00 - Pottery painting workshop with locally made ceramic with Momoshima mud.

*Finished product will be shipped to your home via international mail.

16:00 - Enjoy film screening by emerging artists from Japan and Korea, at KYUSHISHO- a former village community hall.

18:45- Board the ferry and head back to Onomichi - enjoy the beautiful scenery and lights of the city on your journey back to the mainland.

19:30 - Arrive back to Onomichi Port Terminal.
